Dr. Peterson is 2003 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and a native of the North Florida area having grown up 30 miles West of Tallahassee in Quincy, Florida. He attended Florida State University and received a BS in Biological Sciences after which he obtained a post bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a master’s degree in Animal Nutrition from the University of Florida. He has a special interest in small animal orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Peterson and his wife Caroline live in Pensacola with their rescue dog Ruby.
