Office Manager & Vet Tech
I was born and raised in Pensacola, FL, but spent all my summers in Sidney, ME. I graduated from Berry College with a bachelors degree in Animal Science/Pre-Vet. I volunteered at an animal sanctuary in Maine every summer, from an early age all the way through college, where I was fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of domestic, exotic, and wild animals. I then lived at the animal sanctuary for one year after I graduated. I have spent the last 10 years as a vet tech and receptionist in the Pensacola area. My hobbies include horseback riding, going to the beach or out in the boat, and hiking with my 4-legged friend, Reese, a Chocolate Labrador Retriever.
I have spent most of my life in Pensacola. From a very young age I have always had a love for animals. I grew up with horses, dogs, chickens, geese, hamsters and many more. I enjoyed barrel racing and softball growing up. I currently trail ride any chance I get. I am married to Jim who is the guitar and vocals for the band Cat Daddy. My house at the moment has 7 dogs plus Lemony, 1 indoor cat and 5 outdoor cats. You never know what I will bring home tomorrow. I only wish I was ther person my pets think I am. I am also a HUGE New England Patriots fan!
Vet Tech/ Reception
I was born in Pennsylvania but raised in Pensacola. I am currently working towards my bachelors in Bio-Medical Science. When I graduate I hope to attend the University of Florida. I recently got back from a 6 month internship in South Africa learning about wildlife research and conservation. I did my own rhino behavior study, where I took the GPS coordinates from the 5 oldest de-horned rhinos on the reserve that I stayed at and made different heat maps on their locations for the last 5 years. There, I figured out that research is not my forte. I have worked for Dr. Peterson for nearly 3 years as a Vet-Tech. For my hobbies I love going horseback riding, going to the beach, birding and eating Mexican food. My cute little Persian kitty is named Emma and she is my world.
Certified Vet Tech
I was born and raised in Gratiot, Ohio. I received my degree in Culinary Arts in 2005 and worked in the culinary field for 2 years before pursuing an education in veterinary medicine. I attended college in Columbus, Ohio and received my Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2008 from The Vet Tech Institute at Bradford. Shortly after finishing my degree I packed my belongings and my dog Duke and decided to take a chance and move to Pensacola where I have been ever since. In my free time I enjoy playing with my three children, volunteering at their schools, baking, spending time at the beach and caring for our animals. We currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 chickens and a snake.
Vet Tech/ Reception
I was born in Jacksonville, Florida where I lived up until I was 13 when I relocated to Lafayette, Louisiana with my family. While in Lafayette, I attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to pursue my childhood dream of a career in veterinary medicine. After graduating with a bachelors degree in biology in December 2017, I moved to Pensacola, Florida to live with my boyfriend Keith. Shortly after relocating, I was eager to begin my career in animal sciences. I was afforded the opportunity to come on board at this wonderful place allowing me to develop my skills in the field I'm passionate about. My hobbies include playing beach volleyball, spending time at the beach, time with family and friends, and caring for my own animals. Currently, we have two four legged friends named Dexter & Kiko.
"Dr Peterson is an awesome vet. I am so glad he has bought his own practice and has left safe harbor. Go see him at Cordova Animal Medical Center!"

"I left the visit feeling confident that we had gotten to the bottom of my dog's issues, and the results in the past weeks since my dog has been on medication just further proves that."
- A. Divin
"Dr. Peterson is amazing! He fixed our Golden when both of his ACL’s went out and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. We got a bad diagnosis to begin with from a different vet and then went to Dr. Peterson. Our baby is 110% now!
