Shelly Ashley D.V.M.
Dr. Ashley graduated from the University of Okahoma with a major in Zoology (B.S. with honors 1989) and recieved her D.V.M. from Oklahoma State University in 1994. After working for one year at a small animal hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma, Dr. Ashley and her husband, Stephen moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida. She has practiced in the
Pensacola area since 1995.
She was on the board of directors for the Humane Society of Pensacola for five years and served as president of the board for three years. Dr. Ashley was also a board member for the Pensacola Animal Emergency Clinic and served as Secretary/Treasurer for three years. She is a member of the AVMA, NWFVMA, and FVMA. She is also a memeber of the American Veterinary Dental Society and was recently appointed to the Veterinary Technician Advisory Committee at Pensacola State College.
Her special interests include dentistry, oncology and surgery. Dachshunds are also a special interest as she shares her household with two doxies, Anya and Daisy and a chubby maine coon cat named Katie. Outside the office, she and her husband, Stephen, enjoy offshore fishing and scuba diving
