REFERRAL SERVICES


We maintain only the highest ethics regarding referral cases.  Our hospital adheres to a strict policy regarding our referral clients.  We will NOT see these clients outside the referral relationship; all clients are sent back to their regular veterinarian for continued care.  Copies of the medical record, lab reports, photographs, and radiographs are sent back to the clients regular veterinarian.

Services we offer:

DENTISTRY: 

We continue to offer veterinary dentistry referrals.    All dental cases are evaluated using dental radiographs and we maintain high standards regarding case management.  We have a high speed dental unit to enable us to perform extractions that require sectioning.  We also have the capability to perform root canals, crowns, and restorations.  Repair of oral fractures is also available.

ENDOSCOPY:

Our hospital has an endoscope available for exploration of the upper respiratory tract, upper gastrointestinal tract, and colon.  We also have a small videoscope to allow us to examine the nose and ear.  Emergency referrals are welcome.

ULTRASOUND: 

We have a Toshiba Nemio 10 ultrasound.  Abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiography are available.  All our ultrasounds are evaluated in house AND are are reviewed by a ACVIM specialist.  Echocardiograms are reviewed by a cardiologist at VHI.

ORTHOPEDICS:

We welcome orthopedic referrals.  Stifle repair (ACL via Securos extracapsular repair and medial luxing patella) as well as fracture repair is available.
