Dental Cleaning Packages Available

  

In an effort to encourage better compliance with our dental recommendations, we have put together two special dental cleaning package programs.    These packages are designed for the pet with no major dental problems who just needs a professional cleaning.  Our hospital always offers free dental exams to identify which pets need a  dental  and which can qualify for the dental package.    Most hospitals do not offer dental x-rays with their dentals and it is very important for you to ask questions about the quality of anesthesia that is offered for your pet.  Ask questions and become informed!

Our Recommended Dental Package includes  IV catheter, fluids, anesthesia (premed, propofol, inbutation/gas), teeth cleaning (scaling,polishing, and fluoride application), dental x-rays (full mouth), full dental probing and charting with doctor's examination of each tooth, probing for pockets and other pathology), surgical monitoring (pulse ox, ECG, blood pressure), temperature comfort management with convective heat source, and antibiotic injection. 

 The cost of the package is $325.  

We also offer an Economy Dental Package (equivalent to other local hospitals, but with Cordova's special anesthesia protocols added) for clients who only want a basic cleaning only.  This package includes IV catheter, fluids, anesthesia (premed, propofol, inbutation/gas), surgical monitoring (pulse ox, ECG, blood pressure), temperature comfort management with convective heat source,teeth cleaning (scaling,polishing, and fluoride application), and antibiotic injection.  This package does not include dental x-rays, probing, charting, or doctor's oral examination.  

 The fee for this package is $150 (any size pet)

Remember, we cannot really examine and treat your pet's teeth without dental x-rays!   So, please, if the economy dental is the only option for you this year, please budget for a regular dental for next year.

**Extractions/periodontal/endodontic procedures are not included**
