We have onsite radiology (x-rays) services.   X-rays are used for problems such as determining the cause of limping dogs  to  coughing cats.    Most pets can be x-rayed w/o sedation in the time frame of an outpatient visit.  More nervous pets, or pets with painful problems may require sedation.   Radiologist review of the x-rays is also available for an additional fee.   **Yes, we do offer OFA certification films.

Cordova Animal Medical Center has ultrasound services available also.   We offer abdominal ultrasounds,  pregancy scans, and echocardiograms.  All scans (except pregnancy)  are sent to a specialist for review and report.  Most ultrasounds require sedation to obtain good images, although we usually will try without it.   We can also perform ultrasound guided biopsy.  Certain echocardiograms, especially for congential conditions, may require referral for a color doppler scan.   Please contact our front desk for more information.
