Cordova Animal Medical Center offers soft tissue and orthopedic surgery in many different areas including:
Soft Tissue Surgery: mass removals, anal gland removal, abscess repair, lateral ear resections (Zepp procedure), stenotic nares, entropion, enucleation, elongated soft palate, pre scrotal urethrostomy, perineal urethrostomy, scrotal ablation, exporatory laparotomy, spenectomy, liver biopsy, gastrotomy, enterotomy, intestinal resection and anastomosis, full thickeness small bowel biopsy, cystotomy, pyometra, c-section, etc
Orthopedic Surgery: stifle (knee) repair including ACL repair (extracapsular Securos), medial and lateral luxating patella, amputation (limb or tail), fracture repair (limb and jaw)
We do not offer spinal surgery, pelvic fracture repair, or thoracic surgery. Certain fractures may require referral based on degree of damage. Large dog ACL tears need special stabilization techniques (TPLO) and require referral. Please contact our office regarding orthopedic referral specialists.
