Cordova Animal Medical Center

DON’T FORGET ABOUT US WHEN BOARDING

While we of course pride ourselves on providing the very best medical care in Pensacola,  don’t forget we are a full service hospital and are a provider of wellness services, vaccines, spays/neuters, and we offer baths and boarding.   We employ two staff members whose only responsibility is caring for boarders.  While the current excitement is about large facilities who offer “pet resort capabilities”,  we believe that the care we offer far exceeds ANYTHING you will find elsewhere.    Because we are small,  everyone knows your pet and can give them special attention.  We have a nice backyard and can give our boarders lots of playtime and bathroom breaks.  Best of all,  your doctors are here EVERYDAY and on call if there is any problem with your babies.  You trust us for your pet’s medical needs,  please entrust us to take care of them when you are gone.  We want your business!

All boarders must be current on vaccinations.  Because we have limited space, reservations are preferred.  Holidays are an especially busy time, so reserve space early.  We provide food (Science Diet) and blankets, but you are welcome to bring your own diets or beds.   Pets are medicated at no additional charge.

Baths:   We also offer regular and medicated baths as well as limited shear downs (potty cuts or whole body- no true grooming haircuts etc)   Baths include ear cleaning, anal gland expression, and nail trim.   We ask that you drop your pet off in the morning before 9:00 AM and they will be available for pickup after 3PM.  We can accommodate special requests if you ask!

Hurricane:  While boarding is discouraged during Hurricane Warnings, clients who must evacuate and cannot take their pets will be allowed to board (Tropical Storm and Cat 1 and 2 storms only;   you may be required to pick up your pet if there is a sudden change in the track or intensity).  It is important to realize that we may incur damage as well, including loss of power for an indefinite time.   Staff members may not be able to get to the hospital to care for boarded animals.  While we will take all reasonable care to ensure the safety of your pet, we cannot guarantee it.
